Dear Colleagues,

We have the pleasure to announce the organization of the 1st  International Congress  “CLINICAL TOPICS IN UROLOGY (CTU)”, to be held in Athens, Greece, on the 5th and 6th of July, 2013. The meeting is planned to be repeated every year focusing on different monothematic topics, starting with Lithiasis.

The meeting is jointly organized by the First and the Second University Departments of Urology of the Athens University Medical School, in joint forces with the Department of Urology of the "Acibadem" Maslak Hospital of Istanbul -Turkey and the Israeli Endourological Society is an integral part of the Israeli Urological Association.

“Why yet another meeting in Urology?” , you may ask.

Our main goal is to cover the continuous educational needs through an interactive meeting, dedicated to a specific topic of our specialty each year. During CTU, urologists will have the opportunity to attend a yearly review of specific topics which will help them to better meet the challenges of the ever-changing, daily clinical practice. This will not be a “one-way” scientific communication event, but rather an opportunity for every delegate to speak up, discuss and question hot topics and current issues in Urology.

The Program structure will comprise brief presentations with a focus on techniques and treatment options, as well as a parallel “hands-on training program” for familiarization with the latest medical technology. A strong international Faculty of distinguished experts in Urology will deliver the program, while EULIS and ESUT have already expressed their intention to support of our effort.

We invite you to visit the website regularly for the latest updates and news about the organization of the Meeting and we look forward to welcoming you in Athens.

With our very best regards,

Constantinos A. Constantinides
